LESSON 137 · SENTENCES AND AGREEMENT
Understanding the topic · English notes
Exclamative clauses express strong reaction, often using what plus a noun phrase or how plus an adjective/adverb with statement order.
Use what with a noun phrase and how with an adjective or adverb. With a singular countable noun, include a/an where needed. Keep statement word order in an exclamative rather than copying question inversion.
