Adjective complements – Malayalam Notes

Learn adjective complements with English and Malayalam notes, natural examples, phrasal verbs and practice answers.

LESSON 047 · ADJECTIVES

Understanding the topic · English notes

Some adjectives take preposition phrases, infinitives or clauses to complete their meaning. Learn the whole adjective pattern.

Learn the adjective together with its complement: ready to leave, interested in learning, glad that you came. A preposition requires a noun or -ing form, while an infinitive marker takes the base verb. The adjective determines which pattern fits.

Why this pattern works

Learn the adjective together with its complement: ready to leave, interested in learning, glad that you came. A preposition requires a noun or -ing form, while an infinitive marker takes the base verb. The adjective determines which pattern fits.

Ready to leave, interested in learning തുടങ്ങിയ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് പഠിക്കുക. Interested in-ന് ശേഷം verb വന്നാൽ ing വേണം. Ready to-യ്ക്ക് ശേഷം base verb വരുന്നു; എല്ലാ adjective-ക്കും ഒരേ pattern അല്ല.
