Adjective functions and positions – Malayalam Notes

Learn adjective functions and positions with English and Malayalam notes, natural examples, phrasal verbs and practice answers.

LESSON 039 · ADJECTIVES

Understanding the topic · English notes

Adjectives describe nouns or function as complements after linking verbs. Some adjectives are restricted to one position.

An adjective can appear before a noun or after a linking verb. Use an adjective to describe how the subject feels, but an adverb to describe how an action is performed. Some adjectives such as asleep are normally used after a verb.
