Many nouns select particular prepositions. Learn combinations as units, because direct translation from Malayalam can produce unnatural choices.
Learn nouns with their usual prepositions, such as reason for, solution to and interest in. The preposition can reflect the intended relationship, not merely a fixed Malayalam equivalent. After a preposition, use a noun or -ing form when expressing an action.
